We're up on a fire road above our house (you can see the house in the second photo). It's a steep uphill (I hate hills) but then it flattens out. A little more excitement on this walk - Shasta tried to catch a skunk and managed to get herself sprayed. Not too badly; enough to make her stinky but not enough to teach her to leave skunks alone. She had to spend the night outside because none of the pet supply stores in the area are open late on Sundays. Poor pup.
