Well, we did it! We finally took that family trip to Hawaii!

After months of planning, we headed off to Hawaii and had quite an adventure.

We boarded the plane on the morning of August 4th thinking we were finally on our way. A few hours later (after making it half way to Hawaii) we returned to San Francisco, and, after an hour of circling, finally landed safely. Some local stations broke into their normal programming to show our plane's landing live. Sadly for them there was no explosion. After getting off the plane both Meg and Grant (Raj's step dad) were interviewed. United found us a new plane, and we were headed back to Hawaii that night.

After finally arriving at the Kona airport, Raj took us home. We had an incredible week of snorkeling, sightseeing, and (of course) eating well. Mom and I even went scuba diving.
