Saw the oddest thing in Monterey at Breakwater - an otter attacking a bird. It would catch the bird, hold it under water, drag it around, let it go, catch it again and then repeat. I've never seen anything like it, nor had any of the folks standing around me watching, or the scuba class I chatted with afterwards. These photos cover about a 15 minute time period; I don't know what happened to the bird in the end.

I took these photos during one of Raj's scuba classes so they're also posted on the Aquatic Discovery site.
