Taco Salad
  "The Markham (mom's family) taco salad recipe is a standard 
  family and friend favorite!  It is a simple dish that is very 
  good and easy to prepare.  My favorite memory of taco salad 
  is making it for all swim team functions when we were 
  growing up.  Mom would pack each ingredient separately in 
  Tupperware and bring her large black salad bowls (pictured 
  below) to mix everything together just before serving.

Ingredients (use as much, or as little of all ingredients as you 
  would like!):
  Chopped lettuce (I prefer mixing Romaine and Ice Berg 
  lettuce)
  Grated Cheddar Cheese
  Ground Beef
  Kidney Beans
  Chopped Tomatoes
  Sliced Avocados
Thousand Island (I prefer Wishbone brand)
To cook the ground beef: Cook ground beef mixed with chopped onions, oregano, salt and pepper to taste. Drain cooked meat and let cool before adding to the salad.
To crush the Doritos: Open the bag of Doritos, and then crush the chips with your hands, while still in the bag, into tiny little pieces.
Mix all ingredients together just before serving. Enjoy!
