TURKEY STUFFING

1 C. chopped celery
2 sprigs of parsley, chopped
4 C. dry bread crumbs
3 Tbsp chopped onion
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp poultry seasoning
Sage to taste
1/3 C melted margarine
1 beaten egg
4 strips bacon (3 oz), cut up and fried crisp
Hot water to moisten

1. Combine water, bread, onion, celery, parsley and seasonings.
2. Add bacon, bacon grease, melted margarine and egg. Mix.
3. Makes 3-4 C stuffing. Allow 1 cup stuffing for each pound of poultry.
